Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux server environments across on-premise and AWS cloud platforms
- Proactively monitor system health using tools like Nagios and Splunk to prevent downtime
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations for 500+ users
- Automate deployment processes using Ansible and PowerShell scripting
- Execute disaster recovery plans and conduct quarterly DR drills
- Collaborate with security team to implement CIS benchmarks and compliance controls
- Document infrastructure changes and maintain knowledge base articles
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Advanced AWS certification (SAA or equivalent) with hands-on EC2/S3 experience
- Proven scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Strong network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware vSphere/Hyper-V)
- ITIL Foundation certification preferred
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with root-cause analysis methodology
