Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server, Linux, and VMware virtualization environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM systems with zero downtime
- Monitor and optimize network performance using SolarWinds and Nagios
- Lead disaster recovery testing and business continuity planning initiatives
- Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible
- Document system configurations and maintain compliance with SOX/GDPR standards
- Provide Tier 3 support escalation and mentor junior team members
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise system administration experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows Server 2019+ and Ubuntu Linux
- VMware vSphere 7.x and Hyper-V certification required
- Strong scripting abilities (PowerShell/Python/Bash)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid architectures
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent security certification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
