Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement scalable software solutions using modern programming languages (Java, Python, or Go) and frameworks.
- Code Optimization: Refactor legacy codebases to improve performance, security, and maintainability.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability and reduce bug rates.
- Deployment: Manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) to automate deployment processes to production environments.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence within the team.
- Technical Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a full-stack or backend environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL databases, and RESTful API design. Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Programming: Deep knowledge of at least two major programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
