Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-availability backend systems in Java/Python
- Lead weekend deployment cycles and incident response protocols
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP using Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Collaborate with product teams to define technical roadmaps
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in Java, Python, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong AWS/GCP certification (Solutions Architect preferred)
- Proven experience leading weekend production deployments
- Agile/Scrum methodology mastery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
