Responsibilities
- Design & Develop: Architect and implement robust, scalable software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Weekend Operations: Manage critical system maintenance, deployments, and emergency patches during your scheduled weekend shift to ensure 24/7 uptime.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while conducting rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Optimization: Analyze system performance and optimize application speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Mentorship: Guide junior developers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in a full-time capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (equivalent experience accepted).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts clearly.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively, especially during off-hours shifts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of debugging and resolving complex issues.
