Responsibilities
- Develop & Deploy: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software code for our core platforms, specifically focusing on weekend maintenance windows.
- System Optimization: Analyze, debug, and optimize existing systems to ensure 99.9% uptime and performance during peak usage times.
- Code Reviews: Conduct rigorous code reviews for team members to ensure code quality, security standards, and adherence to architectural patterns.
- Technical Support: Provide technical leadership and support for critical incidents that may arise over the weekend.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers and QA teams to define requirements and deliver features on time.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, API references, and deployment guides.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is required.
- Time Management: Proven ability to work effectively during weekend shifts while maintaining productivity and work-life balance.
- Remote Capable: Must have a stable home office setup and high-speed internet to support remote work.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
