Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain production systems to ensure 99.99% uptime during weekends and off-hours.
- Execute and validate software deployments, patches, and updates efficiently.
- Debug and resolve critical technical issues and escalations promptly.
- Collaborate with the core engineering team during scheduled maintenance windows.
- Document technical changes and update system runbooks for future reference.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and best practices.
- Optimize database performance and troubleshoot complex backend issues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend or full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Must be available to work on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
