Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather, organize, and clean large datasets from various sources to ensure accuracy and integrity for analysis.
- Dashboard Creation: Assist in developing and maintaining interactive dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations for stakeholders, translating complex data findings into clear, non-technical language.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform basic statistical analysis and trend identification to support business forecasting and strategy.
- Database Support: Collaborate with the IT team to query databases and improve data storage structures.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize data workflows and contribute to process enhancements within the analytics team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) is required.
- Language: Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a plus but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data insights to non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail and a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Soft Skills: Strong curiosity, eagerness to learn new technologies, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
