Responsibilities
- Execute complex software deployments, patches, and system maintenance during weekend shifts.
- Diagnose and resolve critical production incidents and database anomalies efficiently.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure reliability.
- Conduct code reviews and perform architectural assessments for legacy systems.
- Ensure 100% uptime and data integrity for all client-facing applications.
- Document technical procedures and incident reports for the wider engineering team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience (Java, Python, or Go).
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms, specifically AWS or Azure.
- Experience working in a 24/7 production environment or with rotating weekend shifts.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical field.
