Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor weekend deployments to ensure 99.9% system uptime and stability.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve critical production bugs and performance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define feature requirements and technical architecture.
- Optimize database queries and backend services to improve application speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for security and maintainability.
- Automate infrastructure tasks and create tools to streamline engineering workflows.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript with a strong grasp of full-stack development.
- Demonstrated experience with SQL and database management systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Availability to work Friday, Saturday, or Sunday shifts as required.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first setting.
