About The Role:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will bridge the gap between complex financial algorithms and user-friendly applications. You will own key features from conception to deployment, ensuring our platform remains the gold standard in equity options management.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable backend services for complex equity derivative pricing engines.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate mathematical models into efficient code.
- Optimize database performance to handle high-frequency market data ingestion with sub-millisecond latency.
- Ensure system security, data integrity, and compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations.
- Lead technical architecture reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of excellence.
- Develop and maintain real-time dashboards for visualizing option chain data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably within the financial services or fintech sector.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
