Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions for critical backend services and APIs.
- Perform system maintenance, patching, and emergency troubleshooting during off-peak hours.
- Collaborate with the Product and DevOps teams to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards.
- Analyze technical requirements and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers on the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least two modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C++).
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) as required by the schedule.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
