Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across enterprise networks and cloud infrastructure
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents with SLA-driven urgency
- Implement and maintain security controls (SIEM, EDR, firewalls)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing exercises
- Document security incidents and prepare executive-level reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security awareness initiatives
- Stay current with emerging threats and defense technologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of cybersecurity experience in SOC, incident response, or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification (required)
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Fri-Sun 3pm-11pm)
- Excellent written communication and documentation skills
