Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications using modern programming languages.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues that arise during the weekend maintenance window.
- Optimize code for maximum speed and scalability to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Participate in code reviews and technical architecture discussions to maintain high standards.
- Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure robust system performance.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with the on-call team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL databases, and cloud services (AWS/Azure).
- Must be available to work a rotating weekend schedule (e.g., Saturday and Sunday).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
