Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications for our core platform using modern frameworks.
- Collaborate with the product team to troubleshoot complex issues and implement robust solutions.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance across all weekend deployments and maintenance windows.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers within the engineering squad.
- Automate testing and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) to streamline the release cycle and minimize downtime.
- Respond to critical incidents and provide real-time support during weekend outages.
- Participate in architectural planning sessions to ensure technical feasibility for upcoming projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development (Backend or Full Stack preferred).
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, with strong experience in SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during off-hours.
