Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead weekend on-call rotations for production system support and incident response
- Mentor junior engineers through weekend pair programming sessions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools for weekend deployment workflows
- Conduct weekend system performance tuning and optimization
- Collaborate with product teams during weekend sprint planning and retrospectives
- Document technical specifications and architecture decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven experience leading weekend shift operations or on-call rotations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills with focus on system reliability
