Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-performance RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript
- Lead cloud-native development on AWS (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize system architecture for 99.99% uptime and sub-200ms latency
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with JavaScript/TypeScript
- Expertise in AWS services and serverless architecture patterns
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and event-driven design
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha) and TDD methodologies
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
