Responsibilities
- Lead development of scalable microservices using Java/Python and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Optimize system performance and security protocols
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to architectural decisions
- Drive adoption of DevOps best practices across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with RESTful API development and testing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
