Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Go and AWS Lambda
- Optimize database performance for high-frequency trading systems
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- CI/CD pipeline automation using Terraform and Jenkins
- Lead incident response for production issues (on-call rotation)
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in distributed systems development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with strong CS fundamentals
- Proven experience with AWS/Azure cloud services
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with complex algorithms
- Experience in fintech or high-throughput systems preferred
