Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software systems for our proprietary trading and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Quantitative Analysts) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, Java, or Go, adhering to industry best practices and code reviews.
- Optimize application performance, latency, and throughput to handle high-volume data streams in real-time.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from conception and design to testing and deployment.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical roadmap of the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency in at least two of the following: Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and database systems (SQL and NoSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-first or hybrid culture.
