Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in Python, Java, or Go with cloud-native development
- Proficiency with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless architectures
- Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with event-driven systems and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of security best practices for distributed systems
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
