Responsibilities
- Architect cloud-native microservices on AWS/GCP using serverless patterns
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines for 99.99% uptime and rapid deployments
- Lead cross-functional Agile sprints with product and design stakeholders
- Implement security-first DevOps practices including IaC with Terraform
- Contribute to open-source projects and industry conference speaking
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in production-level backend development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java with strong CS fundamentals
- Proven track record with event-driven architecture and message queues
- Proficiency with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Experience mentoring engineers in distributed systems
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design solutions
