Responsibilities
- Architect and develop cloud-native microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Mentor 2-3 junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization and infrastructure-as-code implementation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Drive performance optimization and scalability improvements for high-traffic APIs
- Contribute to engineering excellence through automated testing and documentation
- Participate in agile ceremonies and roadmap planning sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience (5+ years professional development)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Strong background in microservices architecture and REST API design
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Proven track record of mentoring and technical leadership
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex distributed systems
- Ability to thrive in remote collaboration using modern tools (Slack, Jira, Zoom)
- Portfolio demonstrating significant full-stack contributions
