Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure software applications using modern technologies.
- System Architecture: Collaborate with the architecture team to define system design and ensure technical feasibility of features.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain code quality standards.
- Problem Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features that meet business requirements.
- Optimization: Continuously optimize application performance and improve user experience.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Technologies: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desired.
- Database: Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Relocation: Must be willing to relocate to Houston, TX (Relocation assistance provided).
