Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot and Python
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Docker
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot complex production issues
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
- Implement security protocols and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Proven track record in building high-availability systems
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments
