Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and Go.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions to ensure system scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to define feature requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Optimize database performance and implement efficient data pipelines using AWS services.
- Identify technical debt and refactor legacy code to improve maintainability.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical system monitoring and incident response (rotating schedule).
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on backend systems.
- Proficiency in Python and Go (Golang).
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
- Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS).
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong grasp of software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
