Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications for our client-facing platforms and internal tools.
- Debug and resolve complex technical issues that arise during off-peak hours to ensure system stability.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with the Product and QA teams to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews, technical architecture planning, and sprint planning meetings.
- Implement and enforce security protocols and data privacy measures across all deployments.
- Optimize application performance and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer in a software development environment.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or C# (JavaScript/TypeScript experience is a plus).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SQL, and database management systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote setting with strong time management and communication skills.
- Relocation flexibility to the Raleigh, NC area.
