Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Architect and implement high-quality, scalable software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- System Maintenance: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical services during night operations.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps) to define requirements and deliver features on time.
- Optimization: Continuously refactor legacy code and optimize database queries to improve application speed and efficiency.
- Security: Implement security best practices and conduct vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive data.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go, with experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and React or Angular.
- Infrastructure: Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive mindset.
