Responsibilities
- Production Support: Monitor system health, troubleshoot critical bugs, and implement patches during the night shift to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Code Development: Design and implement scalable backend services and microservices architecture.
- Database Management: Optimize database performance and conduct nightly backups and maintenance tasks.
- Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Security Audits: Conduct vulnerability scans and code reviews to ensure enterprise-grade security standards.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for system architecture and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in a 24/7 environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Go; strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Cloud Expertise: Experience with AWS or Azure is required.
- Shift Readiness: Proven ability to work independently during night shifts with a high degree of focus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
