Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices architecture for high-traffic platforms
- Optimize backend systems for peak performance during night shift operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on CI/CD pipeline improvements
- Lead incident response and system troubleshooting during off-peak hours
- Contribute to API development and integration with cloud services (AWS/GCP)
- Maintain documentation and conduct code reviews for team standards
- Innovate solutions for latency reduction and system reliability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python/Go)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and messaging queues
- Proven track record in high-availability system design
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM MST)
