Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices using Java and Python
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers during night shift rotations
- Resolve critical production issues with 99.9% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones via agile methodologies
- Optimize database performance and security protocols
- Document technical specifications and API integrations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development (Java/Python)
- Expertise in AWS services (EC2, Lambda, RDS) and Docker/Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and infrastructure as code
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex production issues
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Night shift availability and time zone flexibility required
