Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services
- Lead cloud infrastructure deployments using AWS and Terraform
- Debug complex system issues during night shift coverage
- Mentor junior engineers through virtual pair programming
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices
- Collaborate with global teams across time zones
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development
- Expertise in Go, Python, or Java
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices
- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM MST)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
