Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java and Python
- Implement robust security protocols for cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Collaborate with global teams via agile methodologies during night cycles
- Debug and resolve critical production issues in real-time
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization for 24/7 deployment
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical workshops
- Document system architecture and maintain comprehensive API specs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience with backend development (Java/Python)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/K8s)
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM CST)
- Proven problem-solving skills for complex system issues
