Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable backend services using Java, Python, and microservices frameworks
- Lead debugging and optimization of production systems during night operations
- Collaborate with global teams using Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines
- Implement security best practices and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical documentation
- Contribute to innovation sprints exploring emerging technologies like AI/ML integration
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical system incidents
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Proven track record of building high-availability systems (99.9%+ uptime)
- Strong background in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
- Experience with night shift or 24/7 operational environments preferred
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent technical certification
- Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities
- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures
