Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead cloud migration projects on AWS with CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize database performance using PostgreSQL and Redis
- Develop RESTful APIs with comprehensive testing strategies
- Contribute to DevOps practices including Terraform and Kubernetes
- Analyze system metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and database design
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with system architecture experience
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant healthcare applications preferred
