Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers through pair programming sessions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and technical specifications
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS services and Docker for seamless deployments
- Optimize database queries and API performance to achieve sub-200ms response times
- Contribute to architectural decisions and conduct technical feasibility assessments
- Document system designs and maintain comprehensive API documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (5+ years experience required)
- Expert proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and microservices architecture
- Proven track record of shipping production systems at scale
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence workflows
