The Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will lead the technical direction of our core products, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with product managers to deliver high-impact features. You will work in a fast-paced agile environment where your code directly influences millions of users.
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain robust, scalable backend and frontend systems using modern technologies.
- Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices and design patterns.
- Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and technical excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, ops) to define feature requirements and technical specifications.
- Optimize application performance, latency, and resource utilization.
- Contribute to the development of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React, and Node.js.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
