Responsibilities
- Design and implement microservices using Java/Python in cloud-native AWS environments
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize system performance for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Lead full development lifecycle from ideation to deployment
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices
- Contribute to open-source initiatives and technical documentation
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend software development
- Expertise in Java, Python, or Go with strong OOP fundamentals
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and orchestration
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with Agile methodologies and JIRA/Confluence
