Your Role
As a Software Engineer in our Options Trading division, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the core infrastructure that powers our trading strategies. You will work directly with traders to translate complex financial models into efficient, high-performance software.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading systems specifically for equity options.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement pricing models and algorithmic strategies.
- Optimize existing codebases to reduce latency and improve throughput under heavy load.
- Maintain system stability and security in a production financial environment.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture planning, and technical mentoring.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems and databases.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and financial market trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in the fintech or high-frequency trading sector.
- Proficiency in C++ or Java, with a strong understanding of memory management and concurrency.
- Experience with Linux environments and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with financial instruments, specifically Equity Options and derivatives is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
