Responsibilities
- Design & Develop: Architect and implement high-performance, low-latency software components for our real-time equity options trading engine.
- System Optimization: Continuously monitor, debug, and optimize existing codebases to ensure maximum throughput and minimal latency.
- Data Integration: Integrate complex market data feeds and proprietary datasets into our central trading platform.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, quants, and traders to define technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Manage and deploy microservices on cloud environments (AWS/Azure) ensuring high availability and security.
- Legacy Migration: Lead modernization efforts for legacy trading systems to improve maintainability and performance.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, specifically within the Fintech or high-frequency trading sector.
- Languages: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java is mandatory.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of equity options pricing models, derivatives markets, or financial trading systems.
- Technical Skills: Strong experience with distributed systems, message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-threaded applications under high load.
