Responsibilities
- Core Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions for our proprietary options trading platform.
- Data Processing: Build robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and analyze real-time equity options market data.
- Algorithm Implementation: Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement and optimize options pricing models (e.g., Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo simulations).
- System Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in latency-critical systems and implement architectural improvements to ensure sub-millisecond response times.
- API Development: Create and document RESTful and WebSocket APIs to allow seamless integration with third-party trading terminals.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Establish rigorous testing protocols, including unit and integration testing, to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on high-frequency trading systems or fintech.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, C++, or Java.
- Database: Expert knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB/Cassandra).
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of financial markets, specifically equity options, derivatives, and volatility concepts.
- Tools: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
