Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance equity options pricing engines and risk management systems.
- Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts to translate complex mathematical models into efficient, production-ready code.
- Optimize system latency and throughput to support high-frequency trading scenarios.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our financial data infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews to uphold engineering excellence.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from architecture design to deployment and monitoring.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on high-frequency trading or financial technology.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java is required. Experience with SQL and distributed systems is highly preferred.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of equity options, derivatives, and options pricing models (e.g., Black-Scholes, Binomial models).
- Tools: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
