Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize C++ code for our core Options Pricing Engines and Risk Management Systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems during high-volume trading windows to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement new pricing models and volatility surface algorithms.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices for low-latency software development.
- Automate deployment and testing pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable releases.
- Debug complex issues in distributed systems and database interactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on C++.
- Deep understanding of financial derivatives, specifically Equity Options, Black-Scholes models, or Greeks.
- Experience with FIX Protocol, Market Data feeds (ITCH, FAST), or FIX Engine development.
- Strong knowledge of Linux environments, multithreading, and memory management.
- Ability to work effectively in a night shift environment and communicate asynchronously during day hours.
