Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable software systems for our equity options trading platform.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate complex financial models into efficient code.
- Optimize existing algorithms to ensure sub-millisecond latency in market data processing.
- Implement robust security measures and compliance protocols to protect sensitive financial data.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably within the financial services or fintech industry.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C++.
- Deep understanding of equity options markets and derivative pricing models is highly preferred.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a high-frequency trading environment.
