Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain low-latency trading systems for equity options pricing and execution
- Implement complex financial models and risk analytics algorithms using C++/Python
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate mathematical models into production-ready code
- Optimize system performance for handling high-volume market data and order execution
- Ensure regulatory compliance and security standards in all financial software components
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews
- Drive continuous improvement of trading infrastructure scalability and resilience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in high-performance financial software development
- Expert proficiency in C++ and/or Python with strong understanding of multithreading
- Deep knowledge of equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees)
- Experience with market data feeds (FIX protocol, NasdaqITCH, etc.)
- Familiarity with Linux, low-latency networking, and distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Background in fintech, investment banking, or hedge fund technology a major plus
