Responsibilities
- Architect Scalable Solutions: Design, develop, and deploy robust software solutions using modern technologies and best practices.
- Lead Technical Implementation: Take ownership of complex features from conception through to production release, ensuring high code quality and performance.
- Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and actively mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- System Optimization: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations to ensure our applications run seamlessly under load.
- Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Contribute to the improvement of deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC) to streamline the release process.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with a strong portfolio of shipped products.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java, and familiarity with React or Node.js.
- Databases: Strong experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and experience with NoSQL solutions (MongoDB).
- Cloud Proficiency: Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex issues and design efficient algorithms.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent professional experience).
