Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/GCP for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and design reviews
- Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Kubernetes
- Lead API security initiatives including OAuth2 and JWT implementations
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years building production-grade REST APIs
- Expertise in distributed systems and database design (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and container orchestration
- Strong problem-solving skills with algorithmic thinking
