Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native microservices using AWS/GCP and container orchestration
- Mentor 3-5 junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Lead CI/CD pipeline optimization for 99.99% uptime SLAs
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specs
- Contribute to open-source projects and stay current with emerging technologies
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging across full stack (frontend to backend)
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Python/Java
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and serverless architectures
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving skills with data structures/algorithms
- Experience with fintech security standards (PCI-DSS, SOC2)
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable system design projects
