Responsibilities
- Architect and implement microservices using Java/Spring Boot and AWS
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize database performance (PostgreSQL/NoSQL) and CI/CD pipelines
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Lead cloud migrations with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Conduct thorough testing and maintain 99.9% uptime SLAs
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Strong grasp of REST APIs and event-driven architecture
- Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience
- Proven track record with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Experience with fintech or high-transaction systems preferred
