Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of microservices using Java/Spring Boot
- Mentor 3-4 engineers through code reviews and pair programming
- Optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS (Docker, Kubernetes, Lambda)
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab
- Collaborate with Product teams on technical roadmaps
- Drive security best practices and compliance initiatives
- Contribute to open-source projects and tech community
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in backend development
- Expertise in Java, Spring, and cloud-native architecture
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database skills (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- AWS/Azure certification preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system design
